Airstream Excella Classic 1000 - 34ft

This Airstream was imported from the USA by the Hamburg company MK Automobile in 2015/2016 and converted for German road traffic (brakes, axles, drawbar). The purchase price with TÜV and German registration was €28,500.00.

After the purchase in 2016, the trailer was registered, transported to Franconia and restoration began. The interior was removed, the aluminum cabin was lifted a few centimeters using a specially made lifting device in order to carry out repair work on the frame without hindrance. The frame was sanded down, rusted frame parts removed, Parts were lasered and welded in, frame primed with zinc paint and painted with black machine paint. The frame is finished, the car can be assembled.

The Airstream has accident damage on the rear left. All original aluminum molded parts, sheet metal, rivets and necessary repair tools were imported from the USA.
